The Sanctuary

A sacred space for women affected by cancer to rest, regulate, and be—exactly as you are.

The Sanctuary is a weekly, low-pressure Zoom gathering for women affected by cancer, whether you are in active treatment or navigating life after treatment. This is a place to land softly, tend to your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels supportive, human, and real.

Each one-hour session offers gentle nervous system–regulating practices, mindfulness techniques, and space for meaningful connection with others who understand this path. There is no fixing, no performing, and no expectation to share more than feels comfortable. You’re invited to participate in a way that honors your energy and capacity that day.

Wig and makeup are optional. Cameras on helps to foster connection. Rest is welcome. So is laughter, tears, quiet presence, and simply being held in community.

The Sanctuary is about creating safety in the body, steadiness in the mind, and connection in the heart—one gentle hour at a time.

This is for you if:

  • You are a woman affected by cancer

  • You are in active treatment, newly finished, or years into survivorship

  • You’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired

  • You’re curious about mindfulness and nervous system regulation

  • You want community without pressure to explain or perform

  • You’re seeking a gentle, supportive space to just be

4 May Meetings:

Mondays 1:00-2:00 pm Eastern (12:00 Central, 11:00 Mountain, 10:00 Pacific)

May 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th

Contribution:

There are 3 options for contributing:

  1. Supported— $25/month (4 sessions). This is for you if finances are challenging and you could use some extra support.

  2. Base—$45/month (4 sessions). This is for you if you’d like to contribute at the base level and it won’t cause you financial stress.

  3. Supporter—$65/month (4 sessions). This is for you if you have a little extra to contribute, to help other women who may be struggling be able to participate at a supported or free level.

**May Scholarship Opportunity**

Due to the receipt of a small grant, there is a scholarship opportunity for 4 women to participate free of charge in May. If you are interested in a scholarship spot please email Julie @ julie.mindfullyrooted@gmail.com explaining why you would like to participate and your commitment to attend all 4 meetings. Scholarships will be rewarded on a first come-first serve basis.
